1. Components

 

1. There several different components that make up the Embedded Case Kit.

1.1 Beagle Embedded Starter Kit

1.1.1 BeagleBoard

1.1.2 BeagleTouch

1.1.3 BeagleJuice

1.1.4 SD Card

1.2 Embedded Case

1.2.1 Main Enclosure

1.2.2 Back Plate

1.3 (4) 4-40 Flat head screw

1.4 (4) 0-80 Philips head screw

 

 

2. Mounting a BeagleTouch

 

2. Place the BeagleTouch inside the Main Enclosure.

2.1 The face of the Touch Panel should be facing the outside of the Main Enclosure.

2.1.1 The larger sliver area of the Touch Panel needs to be facing the bottom of the Main Enclosure.

2.1.2 You will notice a lager recessed area in the Main Enclosure for this.

2.2 There are four mounting holes of the BeagleTouch that will line up the Main Enclosure.

2.3 Mount the Beagle Touch to the Main Enclosure with the four 4-40 Flat head screws.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Adding a BeagleBoard and BeagleJuice

 

3. Attach the BeagleBoard and BeagleJuice set up to the BeagleTouch.

3.1 Plug the BeagleBoard into the BeagleTouch with its proper pin locations.

3.1.1 This is the same as you would without the Enclosure

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Mounting the Back Plate

 

4. Place the Back Plate on the back of the Main Enclosure.

4.1 The rounded ridge of the panel needs to be facing outward.

4.2 The four mounting hole need to line up with the tapped holes of the Main Enclosure.

4.3 Insert the (4) 0-80 Philips screws and tighten.
